This is a complete* kit to get you printing with all cool features you need! This kit comes with all kinds of accessories like a temperature controlled heated build platform, a Metal Gear System extruder drive, a pre-assembled extruder head, a lead screw driven build platform and so on! Click here for the complete part list * You will need these parts extra to build and run the printer: Tools and soldering equipment See the tools required site for details Some oil to grease parts and Acetone or Isopropanol to degrease the build platform (Get it in a hardware store) A 12V power supply to run the machine (>=16A), usually a computer ATX power supply unit. A fairly modern computer has to be running while printing. (Software is free and runs with Linux, Mac OS X, Windows) We recommend that you choose one roll of ABS filament to start with.

Surface of the water-jet parts

The water jet parts have a good cut quality. However, some of the abrasives used in the progress will stick onto the surface of the parts. Also, there may be scratches on the surface. This will not hinder the function but is probably aesthetically unpleasant.
