Isolated Nichrome Wire, 1m

This is a glass/silicone insulated Nichrome wire that is ideal for making heater elements.
It has a resistance of approximately 6,5Ohm per 30cm. It is sold in 1m lenghts.
Both the wire and the coating become brittle at high temperatures, so it's best to fix it in place with fire cement or high-temperature adhesive before it is heated.
Note that nichrome wire cannot be soldered. All connections must be mechanical.

If the wire appears out of stock, don't worry. We have plenty in stock. If the stock level is zero, allow us 1-2 days to cut new pieces to length.
