Shapercube 2.0 to 2.1 Upgrade Kit

Eliminate any Z troubles you may have with your 2.0 model! This kit will retrofit your 2.0 Shapercube to a 2.1 model with a lead screw driven Z stage. It has only driven by the motor side and now has a real flexible coupling. You need to remove two of the Z smooth rods (which we suggest to NOT throw away because these are great!) and install linear bearings on the other two ones.

The Kit contains:

- new water jet cut aluminium Z stage
- TR12x3 lead screw
- Lead screw nut
- Ring collar
- 6001ZZ bearing
- Flexible coupling
- 2x LME8LUU linear bearings
- 2x mount for linear bearings
- new Z endstop holder
- mounting hardware

The new Z stage has been designed to take the PCB heatbed by default, which is not included in this kit. You can mount your old build platform the same way onto the new Z stage. If you do not have a heated build platform yet, click here!

Note: The aluminium water jet parts are not glass bead blasted by default and may have an individual look. Please contact us if you require glass bead blasting.
